Welcome to Emma’s Scratchpad

I’m the author of the YA dystopian series The Beastly Series. My debut novel, Beasts and Savages, was published in October 2015, and the second in the series, Savages Revolution, came out in July 2016. The final episode is due September 1, 2016.

Savage Revolution

Never heard of Beasts and Savages?  It’s a young adult dystopian about women huntresses who rule the world and Lea, a reluctant teen who gets caught up in a civil war between the sexes. When Lea is forced to make life and death decisions, she enlists the help of Tanner, a curious boy who’s captivated by her strong will and compassionate nature.  You can go to Amazon and Goodreads to preview it. Check out what others are saying:

“Lea is a strong protagonist, who draws the reader’s empathy, and I found myself rooting for her throughout the book. The characters are painted well, and I found it impossible to read the book without loving, hating or feeling both love and hate towards all of them!”

~ Amazon Reviewer

Woods has created a cast of believable characters in a curious world that’s kind of hard to believe.

“The mark of a good book, for me, is to come to the end of a chapter and get a tingly sensation when starting the next. I certainly felt that with Beasts and Savages.”

~Amazon Reviewer

About the book… It was amazing, and this better not be a stand alone book…or there’ll be some serious bloodshed.”
